Evidence that my work has occasionally gone well includes designation as a Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) and Secure World Foundation (SWF) delegate to the Summit for Space Sustainability (New York); an award from the International Space Law Colloquium (IISLQ) for a policy paper on regulation of biological hazards in outer space (Milan); and a research award for an AI model I developed, published under an MIT licence (Singapore).
During my PhD, I secrued over $150k in competative funding, led a microgravity research-flight campaign with the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) and the National Research Council Canada (NRC); published six peer-reviewed papers, including in Scientific Reports and Royal Society Open Science, and spoken as an SME on CBC television and radio, with no obvious lasting damage.
Originally, and proudly, from Manchester, I enjoy judo, cycling and learning languages, with varying degrees of grace.
